Finally got my internet back after changing companies, great to see the pictures from the airshow as well. Shame Saturday had so many gaps though!
October should be a good month with Exercise Hawsers Link at Altcar & hopefully somethings from the fly navy event heading north.

Saw a Squirrel helicopter this morning heading south from the Woodvale direction, could possibly be a stand in for G-XMII???

Just one aircraft - the Seafire if I'm right in thinking. Rest are Shawbury or ship based.

I presume the Merseyside chopper is still unserviceable as I heard the Lancs County c/s Police 21 working in the Anfield area this evening Wednesday 21st, then rtb Warton.

Just recived information that indicates various navy helicopters are on station incl MERLINS,SEA KINGS, LYNX hopefully will have a list later

Should be 2x Lynx, 2x Merlins and 2x Sea Kings at Woodvale - aircaft repositioned from ILLUSTRIOUS in order to give more room for Ship Open To Visitors.
2x Lynx, SEACAT 1-2, operating o/h Crosby and Formby today. Recovered to Woodvale. Alex

Your Lynx were the other way round WW - BLACKCAT Form were 2x Lynx and SEACAT Form were 4x Lynx.
Departing yesterday were 2x Lynx as BLACKCAT Formation, 1 displayed along the river before returning to Yeovilton. 1x Merlin as Navy 016 to display and return Culdrose, 3x Sea Kings as AVENGER Formation to Yeovilton, 2x Merlin as TIGER Formation to Culdrose, 1x Sea King as Navy 818 to display and return Culdrose.

Cheers Alex, it got a bit confusing trying to note down what was coming in whilst taking pictures of the formation (which was too far away!)
I popped down yesterday to the 03 end & the sea king in MK1 colors was still there.
