On departure this evening Hawker M-OLLE left the paved surface of Area V, and all three undercarraige legs have sunk deep in the adjacent grass/mud. After 48 hours of heavy rain (with yet more due tomorrow), it is likely to be a difficult task to extract the fully fuelled aircraft. Perhaps the Manx registration M-UDDY should be reserved? This morning saw the welcome return of Citation XLS+ G-EPGI, parked nicely angled on Stand 3 (welcome because when it was delivered through here in July I was away !) whilst our reluctant resident Hawker M-OLLE remains well and truly stuck just off V.

Two blokes with long shovels started digging M-OLLE out this morning, and by this afternoon the mainwheels are back on terra firma. I didn't see what actually pulled it out.
Easyjet G-EZBK was this morning's Airbus.
