Looks like he should have read the notice - just no warning some people is there ;D Pitty but given it's age it will be a write-off. Possibly good enough for a local museum or conversion into a flight simulator

To check my camera was set up correctly (unfortunately it wasn't , meaning the photos on screen turned out incredibly dark, however the miracle of photoshop as allowed the photos to be some what salavaged) I took a couple of approach shots, before realising something was wrong on CCPW. Though not clear in this image, the right hand wheel was twisted out of place The aircraft begining to fall over, you can just about see the right hand wheel now folded underneath the landing strut (without tyre burst). Gear collapsed and the aircraft hits the deck Fueselage and props scraping against runway G-CCPW begining to slew off runway G-CCPW was moved away from the runway at around 15:30 into one of the hangars.

Andyh: "I suspect the AIB might be interested too... "
Way ahead on that one- both David and I have given the AAIB copies of our all our photos and witness statements as we were only 160 metres from the touch down point . We are glad that everyone walked away. The aircraft landed (as far as we could tell) along the centre line of the runway - if he had been right of centre the whole thing would have been very different (.....the aircraft wing would have clipped the grass earlier and the aircraft would have slewn off at a very much higher speed ) .
