Samba, AS the dark nights close in your great pictures from Narita start making me think about holidays. As a regular visitor to Japan, when would you recomend going? Basically avoiding Typhoon season etc!!! No pressure That question is also open to other members of this group. Happy Days Bob

Great shots Samba, brings back some memories . Are all 3 viewing decks still open? Bob, IMHO spring time is an ideal time to visit Japan, temperatures just right although may be a still a bit chilly up in Sapporo. The cherry blossom at that time is beautiful. GC

Great photos there , will have to return soon ! Bob - have to agree that springtime is /was a good time to go we went in April and weather was great ! along with the planes & photos !

I concur with everyone saying Spring time is best in Tokyo area - late March to mid May is very pleasant. July / August can be extremely uncomfortabe with hot and humid conditions. Early September - mid October is pleasant too unless you are unfortunate enough to encounter a typhoon. Osaka area is far warmer and can be uncomfortably hot in June - September. I have been over to Japan about a dozen times now and the Spring is my favorite time by far.
