August 2020 (wc 10 Aug) comparison with August 2019 (wc 12 Aug) col2=2020 col3=2019 Number of based aircraft 4 4 Number of flights by based aircraft 69 74 Number of flights by non-based aircraft 50 60 Total of number of flights 119 134 Number of routes flown 28 34 Number deps per based aircraft per week 17.25 18.50 Average sector time per based aircraft 02:24 2:28 Total number of seats 44982 50652
If that stays as it is then its approx a 10% drop in pax total. But I cant see that it wont change or be added to as there are gaps all over the place.

Arrived from Fao last night. Two passengers queuing in non priority queue at Faro nearly missed their Manchester FR flight as they were in the LPL queue. The MAN flight left 20 mins earlier and we were boarding when they were told they were at the wrong gate. If they caught I dont know, but there was no room on the LPL service.

Loganair is suspending its LDY-MAN flight, which could lead to Ryanair carrying more passengers on LDY-LPL.

Or, being pessimistic, Ryanair taking route to Manchester. We have a lot of precedents.

Ryanair have announced the closure of their bases at Nuremberg and Skvasta, they say due the late delivery of the 737 max. They have also said that there will be some slight flight reductions from further bases again due the Max problems.

It's a Lauda route with their aircraft and flight numbers.

It's actually a Ryanair route 'operated by Lauda' due to the max issues. The Zadar route is actually A Ryanair flight number, as its FR**** rather than the OE**** number of Lauda.

Yet again, the airport using peoples short memories to give misinformation. A reinstated, not a new, route. It is also not an increase in flights, as it uses capacity taken from reduced or cancelled routes. Very welcome if you want to go to Croatia, a very nice country. Not if you wanted to go to one of the aforementioned destinations.

Dalten, if you don't have anything positive to say then please try to be a little more discrete. Your regular hatchet jobs are becoming tiresome.

Also this is being operated from the Zadar end, so not taking up capacity from the LPL base.

So how long does a route have to have not operate before the airport can regard it as a new route? It’s been five years for goodness sake.
