Just received a promotional email from Flybe advertising discounted seta, from, amongst other places, Belfast City. Valid up to the end of march. Liverpool is not listed as a destination in this promo!

Perhaps the emails are personalised according to where we live. Definitely LPL not mentioned in my email.

Dash 8s have returned to the LPL-IOM route today after a couple of months of wet leased ATR72s being used.

Does anybody know why you can still only book through to march on the new belfast route?

Looking through the diary of new routes and frequency increases has this marked down for FlyBe and it appears that they have given LPL a Christmas present and have increased the frequency on the Belfast City route even before it has been reinsated -
Dec 15 2014 new route 3*weekly Blue Air to Bucharest 737-400
Feb 2 2015 new route 17*weekly FlyBe to Belfast City Q400
March 30 2015 increase in frequency 23*weekly FlyBe to Belfast City Q400
March 31 2015 new route 2*weekly Blue Air to Bacau 737-400
March 31 2015 increase in frequency to 3*weekly Wizz Air to Warsaw Chopin A320
April 24 2015 new route 2*weekly Wizz Air to Riga A320
The increase is an extra return flight from Monday to Saturday.

The Flybe frequency increase is great news. I notice that flights are also now available well into the summer.

Good news indeed, how ever Flybe don`t seem to want you to do a day trip to either the Isle Of Man or Belfast City on a weekend which is frustrating .

Noticed the increase last night when booking to Belfast in April, although the severely reduced weekend schedules mean I have to fly to Belfast City and return on the Saturday night from International. Can't complain though as its a new route and 16 then 23 more flights per week from out of nowhere from an airline that has previously treated Liverpool with contempt.

Tried out the excellent new service from Liverpool to George Best Belfast City Airport yesterday. Both the outbound and return flights operated a few minutes early with flying time of 35 minutes to Belfast and 30 minutes on the return leg on Dash 8 aircraft.
A convenient shuttle bus number 600 operates every 20 minutes from City Airport and takes about 15 minutes to make the 3.5 miles journey to reach the Europa Bus Centre in the centre of the City. The tickets for the bus which can be purchased at the information desk in arrivals cost £3.60 for a one month return for an adult.
With its many Titanic themed attractions shops bars and restaurants Belfast is a great option for a reasonably priced day trip and will be even better when the frequency increases to up to 4 a day later this year
