Just sent a message to Easyjet on twitter, they replied and said their flights are available from 13 Feb, which you can book. When you look up availability on their app it does show earlier dates in Feb and in Jan. However when you try to book 'no flight 'shows. 13 Feb is the first.

Palma has also been suspended for a few weeks. The only January flight was on 3rd and they resume on 7th Feb. In 2019 they were maintained at two per week throughout the winter period.

Here's a question. What happens if I had already booked on one of those cancelled flights. What obligation does the airline have to find me another flight or compensate me, and who pays for the separate non cancellation hotel bookings I made? I suspect the answer is not good news but wondered if I missed something in legislation that might exist.

Just had a look on FR24 and there are no Palma flights listed from Manchester for today or tomorrow, by any operator. If you live there for example, seems like you would have to go south to catch a flight.

I suspect the answer is not good news but wondered if I missed something in legislation that might exist. The answer depends upon how far in advance you are notified. If more than 14 days the airline will offer an alternative flight to your destination or a refund. In my experience the alternative flight can be different day or different departure airport. If less than 14 days in advance of the departure date, the airline has EU 261/2004 to deal with as well.

In the case of the Faro flights, they have never been scheduled between Jan 6th and mid February this year. I can't speak for the Palma departures.

Not sure if already mentioned anywhere but good news that Easyjet have partnered with Etihad, just had a quick look at easyjet.com and its possible now to book Liverpool to Abu Dhabi via various airports including Amsterdam and CDG. Not sure if bags continue to end destination or you would have to pick up and re check in? good news either way
