G-BODR did indeed depart to a rather gusty Wycombe Air park (EGTB) this morning.

Gareth, pleased to hear that you got home OK, even if conditions were not perfect further south.
Weather at EGGP deteriorated early afternoon as a band of low cloud and rain passed through from the west - but you should hopefully have been well ahead of the change.

Beemer/all,
The Welcome Air Do328 did arrive yesterday (Saturday) at about the expected time. Was this the turboprop that departed today (Sunday) at 1315?
Cheers,Keith

Yeah, it wasn't a bad flight at all to be honest, a bit choppy in places but generally good vis and only the odd isolated shower. Strong wind warnings at Wycombe were forecast from 12, I landed about 11:20 and the wind was gusting 26kt even then, but almost down the runway so relatively straightforward. All good practice for the CPL in the spring though!
Was lovely to come back and land at Liverpool, was quite a nostalgic trip too bringing back lots of happy memories! (I think I am making myself sound old!!!)

Hi! I was at LPL on 30th Dec and at around 17:00 I saw an aircraft take off that wasn't showing on FR24. Accoding to the departures list it was heading for Farnborough. I'm a new aircraft enthusiast, so I don't know much yet, but I don't think this is a regular route. Can anybody give me any more information on this flight? Thanks !

Farnborough is a destination frequently used by biz-jet and biz-props types with passengers heading from/to the London area. It also used by Football Club chartered aircraft both by EFC and LFC playing West London teams, and West London teams playing at Anfield or Goodison. However, that was not the case on Sunday 30th, as both EFC & LFC faced teams from the NE on 2nd. Teams usually fly the afternoon before a match and return home in the evening, shortly after a game. In a week or two, Dave Graham should have uploaded the complete listing of visiting aircraft to Liverpool during December onto www.nwan.co.uk , unless it was a resident Liverpool aircraft, it should show on the monthly listing. Not all aircraft show on FR24 and other such systems, it all depends on the cockpit equipment fit. Today the vast majority of airliners and larger biz-jets are fitted, however some smaller airliners (such as FlyBee's Dash 8s), twins and GA singles do not show up.

Chelsea will have most likely have flown down to London after the game against Everton on the 30th. Most probably an E145.

The aircraft was G-EMBN ERJ-145 of British Midland Regional. It bought Chelsea in on the 29th Dec (from Farnborough as BMR8987) and remained here until after the match on the 30th, when it took Chelsea back to Farnborough as BMR8988.
Incidentally, the aircraft then positioned back from Farnborough on the evening of the 30th as BMR9471 and was still here at the end of the month. It presumably took Everton up to Newcastle on the 1st for their game on the 2nd, but I only get the actual movements month-by-month, so I have no actual detail for that yet.
Cheers,
Dave
