By 2215 the LJLA website arrivals page is only showing 3 diverted away:
FR452 2035 Dublin Diverted to EMA FR9145 2045 Barcelona Dvt to MAN FR9649 2100 WroclowDvt to MAN
However there are 10-12 further inbounds due before midnight. So unless the magic screwdriver can be produced, alot of passengers will end up at the wrong airport tonight.
2200 Belfast EZY606, amended to 2300 2200 Paris CdG EZY7046, amended to LANDED 2223 2200 Dublin FR442 (but may be running late not notified? 2230 Belfast EZY610, amended to 2300- looks like this could be a two in one combined flight? 2230 Belfast EZY614 amended to 2359 2245 Geneva EZY7292, amended to 2300 2253 two positioning flights from Manchester FR91P & FR96P 2255 Oslo/Torp FR9619 2258 Palma EZY7144 2315 Alicante EZY7124 2325 Faro FR4032 2330 Belfast EZY616, amended to 2359 - looks like this could be another two in one combined flight? 2330 Amsterdam EZY7012 with added a little later: 2340 FR045P positioning from EMA
Just about to post this, and find in the time taken to type this lot out, that the magic screwdriver has indeed been used as EZY7046 from Paris CdG is shown as LANDED at 2223.

ILS still down. Aircraft landing using SRA on to 09. Reports were that snow on the beam emitters could be the issue. A bit like sky dishes at the moment with the snow! EZY538N holding at KEGUN waiting to see if the ILS comes on but if not will go for the SRA. 2 a/c have got in with an SRA at the moment

Looks as though LJLA is now open for business again, with EZY7046 shown on the LJLA arrivals page as LANDED at 2225 and FR9619 from Oslo/Torp LANDED at 2247.
Added later: Further arrivals EZY7292 from Geneva at 2310 and FR032 from Faro at 2315.

Why did the diverts not land with SRA approaches?

Presumably visibility was below their minima. Cloud base was low and also the electronic RVR system was strugglingvwith the snow all day.

Why did the diverts not land with SRA approaches? 1 EZY tried but couldn't see the lights. 2 got in on SRA and another was on SRA when the ILS came on.
