On the Airport's website, there are two Ryanair positioning flights outbound shown.
FR004P to East Midlands at 0730 FR04P to Dublin at 0830
Did we get diverts during the night? Have there been inbound positioning flights yesterday evening? Are these two positioning flights the same one, entered twice into the system? Is one of these a departure, the other a replacement arrival miss-entered?
One, or is it two for the based fleet watchers to be aware of! I'm not that bothered, it just seemed that having noticed the flights it was an odd pattern of operation.
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Also notice that the Newquay has started, or is this the first service? EZY7031 departing 0945 - but with no arrival back shown, or does the flight originate at Newquay?
Now looked it up. Yes, today is the inaugural service on the route which is 3 weekly. The Liverpool - Newquay connection has quite a history, operated by Starways, and then British Eagle in the '60s and later by Genair in the early '80s.
Looking at the arrival page at 1000, the EZY7032 arriving as 1215 (as noted by Speedbird in a reply a few posts further on) is on the LJLA arrivals board as coming from Belfast International - no wonder I did not spot it on the arrivals board initially!

Firstly the Estonian is outparked to the west edge of the main apron ie IS visible from the main dual carriage-way Airport approach road, as it is parked down towards the fuel farm. But, BE BEWARE of the parking/stopping restrictions and BIG fines that even pausing on the Airport roads can result! It is seeable, but not photographable, other than at range from Speke Hall Bund. Thanks to "Beemer's" early 'heads-up' got down to see the BAe.146. For some reason assumed it would be the rather unexciting, all white, G-BVRJ that I saw two weeks ago on overshoot at LJLA. In fact 'Gauntlet 54' turned out to be the really attractive QQ101 - operating on an ETPS rather than QinteQ call-sign. Proof that QQ101 performed a touch-and-go on 27. As the BAe.146 made a wide circuit for a full ILS approach, the Flybe arrived from IoM. The Dash 8 is always good for a close-up shot. For the second approach I had taken the dogs off into the fields under the approach. A rather similar shot to the first one on this post, but note the Swifts flying between me and the aircraft. There have been a number of reported and suspected bird strikes in the past days, I am informed, although the lightweight Swifts do little damage. They also don't respond to the distress or birds-of-prey calls from the bird scarer, or the Very pistol shot in the way that the larger Pigeons, Lapwings or Magpies do. Finally on the 27 mound spotted this hairy 'beastie', presumably a moth caterpillar around 5 cms (2+ inches) long. The near absence of larger moths and butterflies has been noticeable, but clearly the Swifts are finding many insects above the open uncut fields.
