Very pleased to have confirmation this afternoon that there is to be another Speke Aerodrome Heritage Group (SAHG) "Air Fair" this year, building on the success of last year's event.
Sunday 13th July.
I trust that NWAN members will make a real effort to provide support whatever the weather. There has been considerable progress during the past year on the Avro 748, Gloster Meteor, Percival Prince and the recently arrived Short 360 cockpit. Hopefully there will be visiting cockpits there in addition too.
If you wish to book a sales table or have ideas for fund raising activities then get in touch with SAHG.
Make this a date in your diary, now!

I'll be there, looking forward to a great event. How about the forum having a point where members can meet up for a chat?? Also will there be pleasure flights??

Thanks Brian for the information.Unfortunately, that date may be a problem for some enthusiasts as it clashes with the Barton Open Day and some big displays at RIAT, Duxford and Old Warden.I'm off to Duxford and Old Warden, so sadly can't be there. Phil

Dear All, there's a possibility of another Keenair managed formation flight.
Please spread the word and anyone interested in booking a seat should contact me ASAP by email please!
Cheers,
Roy.

Guys, just a quick update.
Helo pleasure flights are back this year thanks to the hard work at Whizzard Helicopters.
Also, to my surprise we still have seats for the possible Keenair formation flight. Seats are £55 each and I need to know soon if you're interested.
Please contact me by email to roy@spekeaero.org
Cheers!

Keenair Formation Flight has been cancelled due to a lack of "bums on seats".

Not sure what the parking arrangements are but be careful if you park in the hotel car park make sure you give your number to the receptionist. They have a company called "EAGLE EYE" who look after the car park and if not registered on the system they will fine you £60.00 Don't know if it's legal for them to fine people but there terms and conditions are not that visiable.

Just a quick update. Martin Keen will have the awesome Stearman in the air for us - which I for one am looking forward to!
We'll also have the helo pleasure flights back this year thanks to the excellent chaps at Whizzard Helicopters.
Roy.

Fear not, the ANPR system will be off for the day of the fair. However, the hotel's parking area will be for disabled visitors only. The rest of us will be parking in the adjacent Shop Direct car park outside Hangar 2. Again, there will be no charge for parking. If you are visiting the old apron at any other time (and we do welcome visitors on Saturdays) then please do stop at hotel reception and register your vehicle as a visitor. This will cause the ANPR to ignore your vehicle. Roy.

Looking forward to seeing them, it will be nice to see G-TEXA again, as well as the other visiting cockpits, and the Jet Ranger flight will make the day
