I've just had a night stop in Seattle and the layover gave me enough time to re visit he Museum of Flight after a couple of years. What a shock when i saw the state of the Jumbo. Given it's heritage over the years and the money it has made both Boeing and various engine companies, it's criminal negligence to let this iconic aeroplane just rot away in the pacific northwest, if the Dash 80 could be saved then surely the bean counters at Boeing could spare a few dollars from 787 sales to preserve ship 1. As for the other inmates, the connie looked good but out of place, the 727 needs a good paint job as does the Concorde and the 737 is tucked away and very hard to photograph.
