Visited this am to see if they were still using same field as 2006....yes they are..found a better way of viewing it than 2006.... this is by going down the public footpath in the nature reserve park accessed from Gilroy road off Greenbank Road...was able to leave car in Gilroy road near the gate( public footpath sign )and a 10 min walk brings you right to the hedge at the side of the landing area..... Log this am 09.10 --10 30 ? R44 maroon departed as I walked down to field trees obscured view G-EELS C208 Caravan circling course ..photo ship G-CHAP R44 G-GGGD Dauphin G-BYBI Jet Ranger G-BSBW Jet Ranger Sunday mid afternoon was the best time to visit last time ....12 on ground waiting for event to finish....but dont know how easy it will be to park anywhere near it then. Present on Sunday morning are just 4, G-PACO, G-GRND, G-IVIP & G-GDSG. According to the ground crew at the helipad these are the only four to be there this afternoon and are due to depart after the golf. No other heli's are due unfortunately. I'll post photos later of the selection of heli's present during the days of the tournament.
Dave, a correction for the Dauphin you saw on 18th, it was G-CGGD.

I've uploaded some of my pictures for various visitors to the helipad during the main competition days from Thursday 17th to today 20th July (with the exception of Saturday 19th July which, because of the foul weather, only had one visitor in the shape of G-IVIP). Grateful thanks to Mr Alan Mates of Helimates (UK) Limited for being so accomodating and allowing access airside at the helipad for the majority of my shots. I've uploaded them to my Flickr page below due to the size of the pictures which are more than the website will allow me to upload:- www.flickr.com/photos/ian_macadam/sets/Regards Ian
