First flight and it was to Bahrain! Blimey! My first flight was around 1972 and I took off from Southport beach, flew round the town and landed again. Never forget it though! Kev

Any photos of the trip, glitterbex? Regards Beemer. Great first flight in a Brit, never flew in one of those,my first flight was in a Viscount 701,but the strange thing is,I have since flow in a number of aircraft that are much older than the V701,namely JU52,DC3,AN-2,Grumman Albatross and Mallard, float Beaver,DC6 and a De havilland Dragon EI-ABI,all older than the Viscount700 G-AMOE that I first flew on the the 1960,s,quite amazing really,I hope to fly in the Breitling Connie next month,to add to the list.heres hoping someone else can do better than my list!

Sorry, Glitterbex but all I am getting is a repeat of my question. Should there be an answer with it? Regards Beemer.

Sorry, Glitterbex but all I am getting is a repeat of my question. Should there be an answer with it? Regards Beemer. Beemer, it may be that Glitterbex is unsure of how to add photos to the thread, it's certainly changed from the last time I posted images! Copying and pasting the 'HTML' code into the thread and clicking 'preview' now no longer works, it seems you have to click on the 'insert image' icon along the top line and then paste a 'Direct' code into the box and the photos will then appear automatically. That was the only way I could get it to work and took me ages to figure out too, doesn't seem to be any more user-friendly than the old method; if it ain't broke....! Dave H.

Dave I have an account with Photobucket but I find Flickr more user friendly so I use that all the time and will not be re-newing PB when it is due. I am not sure what Glitterbex is doing whether just answering my post or posting pics. We shall wait and see. Regards Beemer.
