With the SAR part would they use a Sea King or a chinook ?

Not to sure. The chinooks are used for mass casualty evacuations, possibly that there is more heli activity, like a sea king etc. Be great if there is more but wasn't a few years ago when a similar exercise over a earthquake happened. Just the two chinooks, fingers crossed for more!

Two Lynx called into Barton to-day. They didn't land, just hovered over the runway for a few minutes, side door open with a big gun sticking out and then departed as if Barton was a point in the exercise they had to report too. But I stand corrected if not so. Regards Beemer. XZ670 A by brianl_thompson74, on Flickr

There will be a Seaking. However all the area is high security and any stopping traffic is a penalty so If anyone was going I wouldn't drive. Other helicopters too but maybe police and ambulance. Wish I could tell you more, safe to say keep your eyes to the skies! I do wonder where they'll refuel. The notam stretches to Altcar so I'd have a guess of the mil helos going there, although woodvale is a possibility.
