Sorry if this isn't relevant but I got a text off Aer Lingus today telling me the flight from LPL to DUB will now leave at 08:15 giving me a slightly longer connection. Very helpful!

I think that is very relevant, it seems Aer Lingus have tweaked their timings, interesting. Presumably the eastbound connection is not eroded much?

The early rotation from and to Dublin (EI192 and EI193) is showing on Skyscanner as being codeshared with Air Canada as AC192 and AC193.

I have noticed in the past week quite a few Aer Lingus adverts on Merseyrail trains promoting North America with Aer Lingus from Liverpool.

Good news. Looked at the Air Canada website for flights to Toronto but the only code share I could see was from Newcastle via Heathrow with BA. Maybe they haven't got up yet? (5am) Certainly Aer Lingus seem to be making a great effort to publicise the routes and other posts seem to suggest good sales. If these routes do succeed might be interesting to see what the US majors might do, down the M56 or for that matter Air Canada themselves.

I feel that an Aer Lingus frequency increase would be far more likely. Note it's reported elsewhere that Air Transat are reducing frequency to MAN next year and there is no increase from Air Canada Rouge.

The video infers you get back on the same plane. Do they know something I don't! A quick also to the other destinations might have been useful. The next video should be for Americans wanting to come to the great city of Liverpool and other parts of the North West/North Wales.

Just noticed these flights are now bookable through British Airways via Ba.com.
Obviously now that they're part of IAG it makes it easier for them. It's codeshared flights numbered BA2123 , 2125 and 2127 ex LPL and 2122, 2124 and 2128 to Liverpool.
Maybe more will follow, perhaps American Airlines?

Amazingly, the only Aer Lingus UK - Dublin routes that British Airways has added its code-share to are Birmingham, Liverpool, London Gatwick, London Heathrow and Manchester to Dublin.
The code-share has not been added on Aer Lingus services from Aberdeen, Bournemouth, Bristol, Doncaster Sheffield, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Isle of Man, Leeds-Bradford, Newcastle and Newquay to Dublin.
I guess this is because these services are operated by Aer Lingus Regional/Stobart Air. Although the BA code-share is applied to the Stobart Air operated flights from Birmingham and Manchester to Dublin.
For completeness, Aer Lingus has added its code-share to the BA CityFlyer flights between Dublin and London City.
