Another unfortunate accident for the Let 410 adding yet more weight (although, as Viscount has previously pointed out unfairly) to it's abysmal safety record. According to Aviation Safety Net the aircraft collided whilst on a skydiving flight. aviation-safety.net/wikibase/wiki.php?id=178831

I visited the home base of these two LETs this time last year.Picturesque airfield on the banks of the river Va in NW Slovakia near the Czech border.Officially Dubnica airport,it is known locally after the the nearest hamlet of Slavnica.............Dubnica is the nearest town and is on the opposite side of the river. The friendly locals were only too pleased to show us around and now tragedy has struck...............how sad. The airfield itself is now the home of a very interesting museum.Over the last three years a collector has brought in a Tu-134,Il-14,Li-2,An-2,Su-20,Su-22,Mig-21 joining a pole mounted MiG-15 that has been there for years. There is also an L-29 in airworthy condition. All the exhibits are immaculate.
