Today is the 30th Anniversary of the British Airtours 737 accident at Manchester, when the aircraft caught fire on take off. Aircraft was G-BGJL named "River Orrin". Very memorable for my wife and I, as a neighbours daughter was sat in row 3. Thankfully she escaped, but 53 passengers and two cabin crew died. www.fireservice.co.uk/history/manchester-airport-tragedy
