John, You may well have flown in 'KN, but if you refer to the trip to Valley with me, it was Tri Pacer G-ARGY. It was the time we were in company with Rapide G-AEML. On take off we were asked to turn right as soon as possible, and were shaken up a bit when something fast, I think a Lightning whizzed passed on he port side.

Ah yes--it's a colt--so no back seats for spectators.Lol. You are of course right it was a tripacer on the memorable flight.Seem to remember getting a beer in the sergeant, mess and being buzzed by an idiot in another tripacer with his radio off as we came into land.He was summoned to the tower on landing-- hope they smacked his legs. Happy days. Thanks for another great experience.

Very Nice pic of G-ARGY.
When I got my PPL in 1965, it was my girlfriend Janette who was my first passenger in 'GY. Still together and still flying. Only yesterday, we went for lunch to la Roche sur Yon in 'VB. When you look around at how many men whose wives refuse to fly, I realise how lucky I am.
