What a interesting selection of aircraft in these cracker photos, are the colours as good on the slides, or does scanning them to digital enhance them in anyway ? In the background of the third photo, is that Ince A and B power stations ? Regards, idlewild

Hi,Idlewild, Regarding the original slides, which are Agfachrome's,there is a slight purple cast that is noticeable. However, most modern scanners, (mine is a Nikon Coolscan 1V)have more than adequate software tools to balance colour cast ,remove grain and eleminate scratches.Provided that they are stored correctly,Kodachrome slides can be archived without colour shift, for 100 years(so they say!!!)The majority of my collection are K64,K25, and in later years Fuji Provia.I did dabble with Perutz and Orwo, but these two have not survived too well !!
