Went to the excellent AVRO museum at Woodford today.Anybody been there yet? Well,a question. As you drive round to the far side of the airfield( whats left of t) about half way round there is a small group of tatty green painted buildings( look like farm barns) adorned in ornate old fashioned script as A V Roe & Co Ltd.Does anybody know are these genuine originals or for much later use done up to look the part?
It,s very sad to see the airfield go in the state its in with housing being thrown up.If it goes on like this we will have to start calling GB Museumland
