In Bergen arrived on pretty much full flight...sat next to two passengers from Durham across the aisle. Im sure members of NWAN will be pleased to hear this service is doing well.

Anyone thinking of a weekend in Bergen which is well worth doing. On arrival at Bergen Airport, take the tram directly into the city centre , takes about 45 min, v frequent and cheap about £3.

A tram link like similar to what Bergen Airport has to the city centre would be great for Liverpool Airport.

I think, when trams have been mentioned on the forums in the past, there has been a lot of negative comments by posters.

Just got back today, again used first class tram to airport, not sure why anyone would think it a negative development for Liverpool Airport ? Bergen Airport is also very impressive, clean, bright and fast to use. Wideroe flight back to Liverpool on time, not as busy as flight going out, which was more or less full, but still not bad load.

Hold on, Dalten's use of 'negative' is not the correct word to summarise past comment here before we go off charging off on a tangent to this 'Wideroe' thread.
If I had to summarise past comment on tramway, light railway, Airport Station, London rail connection, Merseyrail station/connection etc etc on NWAN in relation to Liverpool Airport, then 'frustration' would be the word I'd select. We can see the need, and the clear opportunity - but in terms of national, even regional, priorities for infrastructure funding, such a project is far, far too far down the list for our liking.
Further 'thread drift' will likely see this sequence of posts banished to the obscurity of the 'Other Transports' Section.
