The loads, inbound and outbound, on the inaugural service are always deceptive as frequently include airline management, travel press and invited guests, to say nothing of enthusiasts who fancy being the first!

One of the airport team had liked a Tweet from a Norwegian-based Liverpool fan who has already book nine flights to come to home games, so hopefully there will be many more doing the same It will be interesting to see if, once Liverpool's Champions League opponents are know if the airline will consider adding some extra services on a Wednesday to cater for those home games too.

Tonight’s load was poor inbound with only 12 booked however outbound 76. I would say that, that was good considering the lack of advertising this route has had. 76 outbound, unless they were all dignitaries that came in with the inaugural flight most of those will want to return. Thanks for letting us know the load factors Tony....very encouraging.

So we don’t know the inbound load on the inaugural flight, but there were about 76 returning to Bergen tonight. I assume that there may have been some dignitaries and/ or travel agents onboard. I presume the vast majority would have been Liverpool fans.
The outbound flight inaugural load was about 30 according to Dawid, and only a dozen returning from Bergen tonight. This would probably comprise Liverpool based passengers going to Bergen for a long weekend. That will be the typical flow of passengers. Football fans inbound on Friday and returning to Bergen on Monday; Liverpool area passengers leaving on a Friday, returning on a Monday.
It will be interesting to see what the loads are when Liverpool are not playing at home. Are Everton a big draw for Norwegian fans? The flight schedule is set up very well for people taking breaks in both directions. I really hope it is a success. It has passenger feed from both airports., which is a real plus. Furthermore, Bergen is a beautiful city and the surrounding area is stunning.
One question I have is how do the Norwegian passengers get tickets for Liverpool games? I thought all the tickets were taken by season ticket holders. With the previous charters, did the charter operation organized the tickets or did fans have to purchase them on the aftermarket? I also hope resume you will still charters from Stavangar from time to time because the Bergen flights look like there is no connections to/from Stavangar.

Maybe I'm biased but they could be coming for the Everton matches too not just liverpool I spoke to a group of Norwegians a few years ago. They were in Liverpool for a long weekend. They attended a championship game on the Friday night, Liverpool on the Saturday, Everton on the Sunday and were intending to travel to Wigan for a Monday might game. They described themselves as football supporters. So although a lot of Norwegians do travel to watch Liverpool a lot of them just like English football.
