I have posted a link, more as a news item than as a petition site, although I leave that up to you.
The whole story is very upsetting:-
you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/protect-biggin-hill-st-george-s-raf-chapel-of-remembrance.
Here is an situation update as of yesterday:-
Dear Friends,
While watching, with tears in my eyes, the stunning RAF 100 year celebrations from London on Tuesday, (I could not be the only one to see Princes William and Harry fighting to control their emotions during the flypast) my thoughts returned to the total contrast of the tragedy occurring at the Biggin Hill RAF Memorial Chapel during this centenary year. May I welcome and thank all new signatories since my last email and encourage everyone to continue spreading the word by forwarding the link below, or this complete email, to all your contacts. Official bodies are still scrutinising the Bromley Council/BHMM scheme, so please keep the numbers rising to register our disgust at what is happening. Please click here:

To counteract criticism of demolishing the large Grade Two listed Vestry, cutting down of all the Chapel trees, building the ugly 'Visitors Centre' with inappropriate bricks and not having sufficient funds to even finish the project, the BHMM Trust issued an 'open letter'. In this they claim that there wasn't a Vestry to demolish and the choice of imported bricks made by the huge Austro-German Wienerberger company was a deliberate act of reconciliation, strange that this was not publicised at the planning stage a year ago, but was left for others to discover! I am indebted to signatories whose diligent research has revealed that the Wienerberger Brickworks in Vienna used Jewish forced labour during the 1930's and WW2. Surely clear thinking decent people would consider that bricks from this company, whilst perfectly alright for many ordinary building projects, would be altogether inappropriate for a memorial museum at a Chapel honouring fallen WW2 RAF Pilots. To read the Trust's 'open letter' and our inevitable response, please click on the link below, then scroll down to just above the St Christophers Hospice 'RAF Chapel' Christmas card: bigginhill.co.uk/biggin-hill-memorial-museum-open-letter.htm
Kindest regards
