It was present, but in new stealth/Invisibility mode. Or in it's hangar? Was a really good day yesterday, shame about it raining all day though! Pics to follow next week when I get around to finally editing them.

Coments like this from a Merseyside Police Asst Ch Const really should make us all feel secure ! "Assistant Chief Constable Andy Ward, said: "This was a brazen but unsuccessful attempt to seriously damage the Force helicopter and a Force-wide search is on to catch those responsible. "The fact that this is the second attempt to damage it within the last eight months shows just how big an impact we are having on targeting serious, organised criminals in Merseyside . This attempt has failed largely due to the heightened security measures put in place following the incident in October " Very PC and correct but total BS Firstly these intruders should not have gained access to a supposedly secure Military Base. Secondly having gained access and opended hanger doors and possibly damaged the machine, they then made an escape by stealing a base landrover This is the second such attack although less serious than the last one, that fact changed nothing. They got in and did what they did and left. Maybe a bad move moving to Woodvale from Liverpool even if it was probably a cost orientated decision no doubt

Let`s just hope it is a GIGANTIC improvement on the last increase in security measures the ACC alledges they undertook.

The question is though, what can you do to stop people who are prepared to break into an airbase and ram their way into the police hangar? Hopefully some tazers can be issued to the ASU!

"what can you do to stop people who are prepared to break into an airbase and ram their way into the police hangar?"
How about those retractable anti ramming bollards ? or better still a police presence nearer to the machine than it is, even human beings preferably police officers even armed on station, perhaps even a police dog could be used to patrol if it is too complicated for the Military to protect the detachment on the base. There is loads that could and can be done.

That is the answer to security problems Alex. There was a saying as follows "Secury Corps Cares, but Group 4 doesn`t give a ****.
Minimun wage security dosen`t work anywhere, usually.
