The fact that it can be booked on the official Ryanair site, the loads should be pretty good.

Went through the motions of booking on todays inbound service and Fridays outbound, this evening eights seats available, Friday 68 seats taken.

The noted seat numbers are for those who have actually requested a seat and paid for it.
They won't take into account those who are taking pot luck.

I didn’t count all of the empty seats but it was a nearly full flight. Let’s hope it continues to achieve such high loads.

I'm utilising the new Lauda Air route to Vienna, however on my documents I have noticed that the flight is Cairo Aviation OE115. Perhaps someone more enlightened than me could explain this? The only thing that I can think of is that It is a leased aircraft or is there some other link between Lauda and Cairo Aviation? It has intrigued me.
Thanks for any replies

That's a good question. I googled it, and probably like you, I received several headlines linking Cairo Aviation and Ryanair or Lauda, ( neither of which I asked for in my search) but when opening the item to view, the situation was still as clear as mud.

I also looked at the Cairo Aviation web-site and under 'Schedule' found flights using the OE prefix - the same as Lauda flights!!! The mystery deepens.

I don't know what the connection with Lauda is but Cairo Aviation is an Egyptian airline that has/had six Tu-204's which are all laid up, two of them SU-EAJ and SU-EAG use to operate cargo flights into LJLA about 12 years ago. Beemer.

The website mentioned looks to have been done by a primary school pupil.
My guess about the flight number prefix is that it lapsed (Cairo Aviation) and Lauda have taken it up.

I am using the service in a couple of weeks, just checked all my docs and no mention of Cairo air. Hope not last time I was in Egypt I flew on the oldest and scariest F27 in the world

As LPL says,
OE- was the IATA code for Cairo Aviation and Designator OE recalled by IATA so no longer theirs..
