Over the last weekend in March I flew the C172 from the Isle of Man down to Kemble to visit family. We departed a few hours later than planned due to weather, but after a scenic flight down over Wales, past Gloucester, we arrived into Kemble on runway 26 at about 1530. After putting "WW" to bed for the night on the grass outside the tower, we were picked up and headed off. I was planning on taking photos the following day but the light was good on the Icelandair 757, so made an exception..

The following day after a good visit we headed back to Kemble for the journey home, arriving an hour earlier to allow for some pictures. First off was the lay-by on the southside;

Sadly the cafe is still closed due to storm damage, re-opening soon though apparently. After checking the aircraft out and fuelling up we departed off 08 with the same routing North-bound to the Isle of Man. Flight time of 1 hour 40.
