According to Acklington there are only 11 Daks at Duxford today, with none flying - hopefully things will improve !!

Now got WiFi. I arrived duxford at 5 pm today and as reported for me by marquis there are eleven parked. Also just found on another forum that nine are going to old warden tomorrow, Sunday.
But where are all the others?

The European Daks will arrive over the weekend
Fingers crossed for more

Last minute decision to go to Old Warden festival of flight today (Sunday), and there were seven (not nine) Daks parked there when I arrived at 9 am. They were open for inspection most of the day, before doing a stream departure about 4 pm, to Duxford. Photos not brilliant due to selfie takers and obstructions.
Passed Duxford at 6 pm on way back to hotel, and many new Daks visible. Didn't stop to count them.

I’m down at Duxford, counted 22 by close of play today
The 7 from Old Warden were joined by 2 others for a streamed landing, absolutely stunning

Final total at Duxford seems to be 23, with the Swedish one arriving late afternoon today Monday. Four rehearsals today, plus a couple of local flights, and the Finn making a late visit to Old Warden for two hours.
Grand para drop due 1330 tomorrow Tuesday, but wind looking iffy.

Hi folks, if anyone is going to Duxford for the Daks, allow extra time for your journey as the A14 is horrendous with lots of delays due to ongoing roadworks.

Has anyone seen a list of the 6 Hercs and 5 Ospreys which overflew Duxford on Wednesday 6th ?
PS thought it was a bit poor that the BoB Memorial Flight Dak couldn't be bothered to even overfly on the way to Normandy ??
