You would be surprised where JLR purchase the bits that go into their cars. Volvo partsl are just one item Their Evoque wiring looms are made by a Japanese company in Morocco !

Assuming that isn't new, how were the wiring looms previously transported - and is this the new business as usual? Does anyone have insider knowledge?

I think there are two different operations going on at the minute. Exporting to Gothenburg for Volvo and importing from Tangier for JLR. The car industry has been thrown into turmoil over Brexit but also new emissions restrictions which come into force in October.
I suspect much of this traffic was happening but routing via Birmingham as LPL wasn’t seen as reliable for time critical freight. Enormous credit has to go to Wynne Aviation and the airport for turning that reputation around.

Thanks Andy and I echo your thoughts regarding both Wynne and LJLA for turning the airport's reputation around.

FR24 implies that SU-TCF A320 Almasaria is still on the ground at LPL. I couldn't get down due to work today. Do we have an ETD for its departure ? Hopefully tomorrow in daylight. MTIA
