And yet tickets are still on sale, a suspension could mean anything, however I think we can agree things don't look good.... This could damage the airport, going after airlines yet again that don't have on the face of it any future prospects, or announcing routes that potentially will never start... I hope they turn it around, I really do..

We will have to see what happens, at least the service from here has not started yet, Its so new I doubt many people would be affected.
Regardless for whatever the reasons which we are not privy, Liverpool was picked by Adria to transfer their route from Manchester and increase it. So we should be pleased about that.

Silvercity.
In this, and your previous pseudonyms on this site you seem very hung up on routes transferring to and from Manchester. It's mentioned in the majority of your posts to the point that when I log on and see you have posted, I can almost guarantee its mentioned somewhere in your post, and sure enough, log on today and yes, the route transfer has made it into your post again.
How about we just let it go now, its getting tiresome. Routes come, routes go. It doesn't need mentioning again, and again, and again and again.......

I recommended the new Ljubljana route to an elderly couple who were going to slovenia from venice with easyjet
I told them it start at the end of may next year and they were very thankful and said they would tell there friends about it.

I hadn't realised it was an airline that has been around for a long time. Fingers crossed they can sort out their problems.

Adria Airways started in 1961 and you're right they have been quite some time. Didn't it start as Yugoslav airline Inexadria, that operated charter flights from LPL, using TU134's, for a number of years. I could be corrected by more knowledgeable forum members.

Think they had a red tail and you sat raf style I.e. backwards. Or is it dementia and I am imagining this and memory has deserted me. Used to fly to Dubrovnik, I think pretty successfully for several years. However total memory there

Used to fly to Dubrovnik, I think pretty successfully for several years. However total memory there think you mean Aviogenex who had the red tail and used TU-134A's on flights from LPL to yugoslavia on behalf of yugotours. inex adria used DC-9 variants and operated the odd I.T. from here but mainly manchester in the 80's with DC-9'S & MD-82'S if memory serves me right.
