Hi to all,
I'm hoping someone might be able to help me putting an ID to two aircraft, both Boeing P8's I think, that I saw while on holidays in Italy.
The first, easier (I hope) one, was doing touch-and-go's at Bologna on Monday 19 August as I waited for my flight out. I noted it at the time as US Air Force (might be US Navy or other service), it was clearly marked "328" on the forward fuselage. I've hunted online for the full serial, but cannot find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The second is a very long shot. A couple of days earlier I was in Pisa, and at 1835L on Saturday 17 August I saw another 737 inbound to Pisa. I checked Planefinder and Flightradar - all they could tell me was it had the callsign "Togo 1", so I assume it was another military P8. Again, I have searched online but found no further details. Perhaps there is someone more clued in to military aviation matters than I am who might be able to help?
Thanks in advance
Michael

Hi Michael,
Your Bologna P8 will be 169328. It’s been noted several times around Europe in June/July/August, mainly in Malta and Souda.
Sorry I can’t help with the other one though.
Best regards Mark

I doubt the other 737 was a P8. With a call sign of Togo1 I would think it’ was a 737 operating for the Togo government....
