Good Evening,
I have just got back from a trip down to Kempton Park for the Aviation Fair which was held today. I stayed overnight at the Renaissance Hotel with the room overlooking Runway 27R / 09L. I have now stayed at both the Thistle and Renaissance hotels recently and would recommend them both for the views they have over the airfield. I would stay in the Thistle in the summer months as it has a Balcony, Bar and Restaurant all at your fingertips during those warm days. The Renaissance is great for those cold days sat at those massive windows in you room with the heating belting out. The only downside is that you are photographing through the glass. I have attached some photos below for the Saturday when the landing runway was 09 Left all day. The last four photographs are from this morning before I checked out when they where using 27 right for both landing and take offs.

The weather was miserable for both days and at times I was struggling to see anything landing on the far parallel runway. I am sure you would get clearer pictures without the glass in the way and a bit more sunshine. Did anybody else attend the Air Fair at Kemton? Thanks for looking Paul
