Just finished today, this is the "Amodel" Dove kit which has the necessary parts to make the early military Devon C.1 version. I also bought the "Transport Wings" resin seats + Elsan loo set, as the Dove kit doesn't include any. A set of "Caracal" military markings completed the purchases, although few of these decals were used. Devon C1 (4) w by Philip Pain, on Flickr It is surprising how little information can be found regarding the interior and internal colour scheme of early military Devons, all of the stuff on the web shows surviving later or refurbished versions. Devon C1 (12) w by Philip Pain, on Flickr Another big difficulty was doing the fuselage serial for my chosen aircraft. VP974 was a very posh VIP aircraft (in the early 1960's), with added white outlines everywhere. Fortunately I had an ancient sheet of "Almark" serial numbers in black which were always too thin and puny. So these were placed on top of normal white serial numbers - not perfect, but near enough. The basic scheme for VP974 was highly polished bare metal, although the fabric covered control surfaces were silver painted. It had previously served with 13 Group CF which was at Ouston from 1955. The nose bears the single one-star marking of an Air Commodore. In the late 1960's VP974 was converted to a Devon C.2, and survived until 1980 when it was scrapped. Thanks for looking.

That's a very nice model Phil. VP974 regularly visited Hawarden in the 60's.

I do not normally look at this section, but the title "DH104 Devon" caught my eye.
I am glad I opened up the link. Great model. Congratulations. Ron
