Can anyone tell me who has the job at the Echo for Liverpool JLA news. There was an Easy training flight being conducted this morning and to read the Echo this afternoon it sounds as though the aircraft was in trouble and to quote one avid Echo reader the aircraft was seen performing loops over his house, give me a break, are these people,e for real. Bob.

I to saw the artical in question, this happens all the time when crew training/base checks happen, one day the paper in question might get something right in stead of blowing it out of all proportion,i think it happend last week when the choppers were at Altcar, say no more

Some very nice short finals witnessed too...
The press in this country are becoming a real problem these days, I get free press etc but they are borderline shocking at the moment... in the digital age of 24 hour news, the need to over dramatise mundane issues is in my opinion designed to get the readers into some sort of mad frenzy.... Problem is there are more people who fall for daily drivel than don't, hence the reason rubbish like this is reported

It's all click bait. If they make the headline sound dramatic, people will click on the story. Adverts then get served to each reader and the echo is paid their money. The reader then finds out it's not as bad as the headline makes out. I think the daily mail is the worst for this although all of them are getting just as bad. It makes you lose trust in the media as you doubt the quality of the journalism. Thankfully the BBC don't seem to have slipped into this as they have no ads. Rant over!

Word of warning folks, there appears to be an easyjet in the circuit... The echo will be wetting themselves with excitement... Mr Smith from Woolton will be on to the BBC as we speak in fear of his life 😴

Did it do "loops" like the last EZY training session the Echo sensationalised ?....an Airbus looping would be something to see!

Liverpool Echo is mentioning about new bus route 982 Runcorn via Widnes to Liverpool Airport. I can only find one service at 0530 leaving the airport arrive Runcorn 0610. Hardly anything to shout about !

Echo again reporting on the A 400 this morning doing LOOPS over Merseyside, please who writes this drivell. Maybe looking at the likes of FR24 the flight paths appears as 'Loops' which to aviation minded people are known as 'circuits' - just a thought ! But comments agreed regards the general (non) standards of today's journalism !
