MAN isn't closed at all, I have just finished work there, and had the scanner on for the past half hour. :s The following is a summery from radio talk which was monitored by me at the time from Tatton Park! Operations were suspended for a short period whilst the report from a Jersey DHC8 that there was a possible incursion of the perimeter fence by three people near to the 05L threshhold were investigated! After the investigation by ground staff it was found to be a false alarm and they were indeed 'plane spotters' who were on the outside of the fence! (no part of the fence was tampered with!) After the conclusion was sent over the radio by the tower controller, the crew of the DHC8 apologised for the disruption to operations! He was told not to be silly and that they were grateful for their vigilance and that you cant be too careful in these times! Steve

It's an Easyjet a/c, the interior is Easyjet with fixed seats, just like Ryanair.

I was told this a/c had fixed seats by my daughter who was cabin crew on the Sofia service yesterday, I think she said the a/c was roughly a month old, which makes me wonder why buy an a/c with fixed seats only to take them out and replace them.
