Hi all and in particular for the information of Beemer
Warrington Council, Highways, names and numbers department, confirm the belief that Lockheed Road has been named in relation to Burtonwood's involvement with Lockheed aircraft. Other roads on the estate are likely to have similarly themed names.

Warrington BC have another area in Penketh which has an aviation theme. On the estate are Hamble Drive, Manston Road, Kirkwall Drive, Stanstead (their spelling)Avenue, Warton Close and Shoreham Drive.

There are lots of aviation related road names in Warrington; Anson Close, Blenheim Close, Handley Drive, Viscount Road....

There is also a Pub called "The Memphis Belle" not far from the Gemini estate in Warrington
