Martin, like wise with G-OPMJ Cessna 172 of Jefferson Air Photography based at Hawarden. It has been that reg for nearly two years but still shows as G-BIIB on FR24. It just needs the FR24 Administrators to up-date the registrations more often. Same as me getting slagged off for saying a Challenger (according to FR24) had landed early last week when it was in fact a Global that had used a secondhand reg. Regards Beemer.

G-ASSW PA-28-140 Cherokee
Someone asked a few days ago if this 54 year old aircraft had been to Liverpool before. The answer is now known to be yes.
First registered in Britain May 1964 as a new aircraft.
Called at Speke twice in 1967 while with CSE Aviation, routing from & to Oxford/Kidlington on both Thursday 28th September and Monday 2nd October 1967.
It next called on 31st May 1971, this time from either Coventry or Leicester (depending on the handwritten code being EGBE or EGBG) and out to Sleap.
No doubt there could be other visits, but that would be hard work once beyond the annual logs on searchable Excel (ie 1960 to 1971). It has certainly been here though before.
