Conditions looking just about ideal for the Ultramagic Grass Roots Balloon event at Sackville Farm, Beds (MK44 1BS) tomorrow, Sat 08.09.12 . GC

Hi Admin.
There seems be a glitch with the Forum, the above post has appeared as a new reply but is dated Sept 7.

Hi Admin. There seems be a glitch with the Forum, the above post has appeared as a new reply but is dated Sept 7. Mike No, I just "unstickied" it and then bumped it back up to the top for now, pending someone perhaps creating a 2013 thread, which will get stickied in its place. The " bump" seems to have wrongly indicated a new posting. Dave Admin

Last NW event of the year, a Fly-in at Kenyon Hall Farm, Sunday 25th November, has been cancelled due to the condition of the grass strip after so much rain. Their events have suffered badly due to the weather this year. Today must be a big disappointment to the Lancs Aero Club given the current brief weather 'window'.

Although little in terms of events on the likes of the ukga or bmaa sites yet, a surprisingly full list of air displays, and even a few fly-ins is to be found on www.airshows.org.uk/calendar.html - someone has worked hard to get their list together so soon. Added a few hours later: Carmedic's 2013 list has just been posted with many more events. Research that Carmedic must be pleased with. Well done ... and thank you. I look forward to constant updating on a regular basis, as there are bound to be many additional fly-ins etc, and the odd cancellation/date change too.
Quite correctly there is a new thread for Air Event 2013 replacing this one that has now served its usefulness.
