The first new flexy tram of the public service to Fleetwood Ferry this morning has been derailed by sand and has suffered a serious earth fault.
New service now curtailed and turning back at Ash Street.
Unbelievable bad management and commissioning of the final section from Ash Street to the Ferry. The sub station is still not complete for this section and therefore, even before the incident, only a 20minute service was possible and not the published 10 minute schedule, as only one tram could take power from the system in that section.
