Busy day - as well as the Citationjet (still on V at 1400), this morning saw "AirMed 053" a Learjet 35A at about 1000.
Then after lunch Seneca DGJBA arrived and parked at Manx Flyers and Beech 200 GFPLD "Calibrator" was making many go-arounds.

8th May update : Learjet 35A reg G-JMED callsign "AirMed 053" adep approx 10:50 for Farnborough. Citation reg D-CJET departed during the afternoon for Luton Todays easyjet was G-EZIH
PS There are rumours on the PPRUNE forum that Easy will night stop an aircraft at RWY once they commence their LGW service ; I suppose the alternative is the good people of Castletown being awoken at the crack of sparrows each morning as soon has the airport opens; can you image the letters to the local MHK's :-O

Cessna 310 N915JM, which spent over a week parked on V last month, has returned and is parked near the tower. Cessna F182Q GFFBG arrived about 1330 and is parked at Manx Flyers.
Further good (and astounding !) news is that BA is taking on the IOM-London City service from the 28th May - initially with E170s until 24th June when they will use a specially wet-leased Eastern SAAB 2000 which will be in BA colours !!!

That is astounding, and Pan Am using a 747 would have been more believable!

ATP LX-WAD came out of the EAM hangar for engine runs today, but won't now leave until Tuesday 15th, when incoming LX-WAT will presumably arrive.
Accident damaged Jetstream G-CCPW continues to make progress to recovery in the EAM hangar, and is now back on all three wheels. The badly damaged stbd flap is still on it though.

This afternoon was devoted to the military with BN2T Islander ZG997 (one of the rarer ones !) parked on the end of 03 presumably doing compass checks, and BAe146 ZE701 seemingly in for a re-fuel as "Ascot 1959".
Easyjet was GEZAF.
