;D ;D ;D More ex London scrap. Initially we thought these were going to be good but they've turned out to be anything but. Apart from their excessively high 2.3 mpg fuel consumption they are very expensive to fix. One of ours developed a fault in the articulated section which cost £26k to rectify. Possibly why they've given up on this one. No wonder Borris got rid of them, must be saving the London tax payer a fortune.

Yes, sad but true. There's another currently on the pits being parted out which is the second to go - no museum for them I'm afraid. Your right the Manchester Airport one was a demonstrator but still spent a fair bit of time in the capital. You would have thought that, out of all of them, this one would have lasted the longest. Here's a photo of her on route 436 - Peckham Victoria to Paddington. mapgrouproadtransport.co.uk/p28049449/h2F9ED2F#h2f9ed2f

Perhaps they could put it on a mound so people would be out of the weather and cold see over the prison camp fence . at least it would serve some viable purpose

Correct Steve. MA1 is the one over the pits being parted out. Been sat at Liverline for about 2 years but nothing was ever done to it
