No, there are exemptions for air crew and several others, such as shipping crews and lorry drivers etc.

Thanks but that doesn’t make sense as they could catch it off a passenger if they have it going out or on the return

It's the same scenario throughout the UK with other workers.
If you look at FR24 then you will see the likes of Dublin and Amsterdam have a sizable flight program going on. So it's not a new thing.

I would take their schedules with a 'pinch of salt' and cannot see flights operating with five passengers on board. I may be proved wrong ? 🤔

The flight program outlined by Ametyst on the previous page would amount to about 310 rotations in July which would be just over half those operated in 2019 (592). This includes Vienna. The six routes not operating this year - Copenhagen, Girona, Las Palmas, Milan, Pisa and Lanzarote - amounted to 58 rotations in July 2019. So if the program goes ahead not a bad start.

MOL said recently he is to cut 3000 jobs and reduce the number of flights due to COVID19 down by 30% to 40%. Its LPL base has done well when comparing the number of based aircraft and the number of flights percentage wise between what was planned and what is planned for the second week in August. col2=original frequency col3=COVID19 frequency col4=percentage difference Based aircraft 4 4 0%

You'll note that the easyJet flights to Faro are almost sold out for the first two weeks in September so it's good to see Ryanair responding to demand.
