Ryanair claims 255 departures a week from Liverpool in the press article but only 134 flights per week available to book on the app. I presume the figure of 255 actually includes arrivals and Departures.
Copenhagen no longer operates after 25th March. It had previously been loaded as 3 per week for the summer(Tuesday, Friday and Sunday).

The figure of 255 cant be right which ever way you look at it.
Departures of 255 needs around 8 based aircraft.
If its deps and arr then it has to be an even number.

A pity about Copenhagen, though I can't say it wasn't expected. I just arrived back from there yesterday after a ridiculous fare of £23 return and the flights were only around 70-75 per cent full even at that price. After saying that I've also been on ryanair flights in the past that were over 95 per cent full and they had also been dropped.

Ryanair thrives on publicity, even bad publicity. It has a great "presence" and this kind of press release, as in the past, and all over their network, is part of that process to keep Ryanair at the front of our thoughts. Accuracy is not an essential part of that process.

It is "smoke and mirrors" from Ryanair as usual. Six routes dropped, six routes added. The fourth aircraft ia actually taking over a lot of the flying previously operated by non-based aircraft.

I think the 15% increase in seats they talk about in the press release is genuine and as such should be welcomed.

As a quick approximate calculation their 128 rotations per week (255 flights) gives 3910 rotations for the seven summer months. This compares well with the pre Covid seven months of 2019 having 4025 rotations. However, Ametyst's 134 rotations per week would give an approximate 2023 total of 4095.

So there are 9 reduced routes and 5 increased, doesn't sound too exciting.

I just think it is amazing that Ryanair has reduced the Faro service from 10 flights a week to 3 a week. Ryanair are operating 17 flights a week from Manchester to Faro.

I have just noticed that Ryanair has increased frequency from Liverpool to Knock to 8 flights a week, with two flights operating on a Friday.

I knew Ryanair had stopped serving Vienna from Liverpool but I didn't realise it had been moved to Manchester.

Along with Easyjet, a long history of this irritating start, stop , move habit. Does not benefit this region.

The only place that does benefit is MAN with more congestion and pain for the passengers but people will still fly with them no matter what🤬
