Yes, they have since loaded flights beyond 19th July. They have changed the days of operation from Tuesday and Saturday to Wednesday and Sunday. They must have been in the throes of changing over when I checked earlier.

Noticed how they like to group departures into the same days too (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday in this case).
The one out on its own is the Katowice departure on a Wednesday.

On 1/9/20 it Departs at 2100 (was 0835) On 5/9/20 it returns at 2030 (was 0800)
I don't know if this will continue into the winter schedule

From 21st July, Bucharest will be reduced to twice weekly until the end of October. Also, A320s will replace A321s on the Bucharest and Budapest routes.

It's reported elsewhere that Wizz are to open a base at Doncaster, with flights to Alicante, Malaga and Faro amongst others. Interesting move at another Peel Group airport.

interesting aswell given the current global crisis, Wizzair seem confident they can fill those planes
wonder will that be there first northern base, but then again doncaster hasn’t got any other airline competition have they apart from TUI.

Wizz do seem to be more bullish than, say, easyJet. Which has made the better call, only time will tell. Yes, it's their first northern base. One based aircraft, I notice Larnaca is another holiday destination.

I think Wizz is the best opportunity for growth at Liverpool in the short to medium term. With the mainline carriers looking to cut back across their networks the chances of a hub route look very slim, Easyjet are being cautious, Ryanair while less cautious are still contracting across their network, where as Wizz are expanding significantly and in to interesting new frontiers such as their Abu Dhabi base, the bucket and spade destinations are already well served from Liverpool but could handle more competition and places like Abu Dhabi, Dubai Reykjavik, Russia etc could be interesting destinations for Wizz to take on.

Doncaster should have been announced earlier but Covid delayed. Then Wizz decided they would open a Gatwick base first and delay the Doncaster base further.
However, Wizz have been unable to get the slots they require at Gatwick to open a base
