Wizz have also announced that they are basing a second aircraft at DSA, routes will be the four main Canary Islands, Lisbon and Eindhoven. Nice to see them continuing to expand at the other Peel airport.

They need to get one here and sort out some decent service to the canaries , which we need desperately in my view.

I see that Iasi can now be booked up until 26 March 2021. It had been speculated that this route would end in October 2020.

Following the announcement of the Ryanair service from Kosice to Liverpool, I looked at the Kosice airport web site. I see that Wizz are re-starting from Kosice to Doncaster I wondered if the Ryanair route, is in some way linked to competition or route "spoiler" for Wizz. Then again, if it is, why not chose Manchester? I also noticed that Ryan will fly from Kosice to Prague, and on every daily service it departs a few minutes dafter the CSA flight. I wonder what is the logic behind that. Anyway, lets just hope that Wizz do well and that some of their ambition comes our way.

One to look out for! Airbus A320NEO HA-LJC was delivered to Wizz Air at Budapest, on Friday.
The other A320NEO yet to visit Liverpool, HA-LJD, is currently based at Katowice.
Another to look out for, but probably not at Liverpool, is Wizz Air's Airbus A330 Freighter HA-LPA. The aircraft has been acquired from Qatar Airways (ex A7-AFF) and will be operated on behalf of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Update!!! Bizarrely, both the aforementioned A320NEOs visited today!, HA-LJC from & to Gdansk this afternoon and HA-LJD from & to Katowice in the evening.
