Subway landside closed down to reopen as Greggs. Used the Subway some time ago. The staff were not very pleasant and the seating area nearby was a disgrace. Hopefully Greggs will be better. 250 miles each way is a long way for me to find out.

Greggs is a British company at least, and is doing very well. Good addition for LPL

Subway is American, the franchisee is local and had both outlets in LPL.
Has both closed.

I read that Eastern Airways are Launching LBA and MME to NQY. I am surprised there hasn't been someone like them looking at the LPL-NQY route.

Liverpool routes to Berlin, Zadar, Girona, Milan Malpensa, Nantes and Bacau that were previously scheduled are not now due to operate for the rest of the summer after airlines re-scheduled their routes due to COVID19.

Berlin is a bad one to lose. No services at all now from Liverpool to Germany.

Berlin is a bad one to lose. No services at all now from Liverpool to Germany. Indeed...how long has that route been running, years I think. I tweeted to Easyjet who told me Berlin is a seasonal route ( never has been )

Agreed, but at least it is back from October. I was told by Easyjet on Twitter the service ends in Mar 2021, as i was asking for next Easter
