The general mood at present is to be cautious and conserve money as the trajectory of both power bills and inflation is unknown but certainly up. Credit card borrowing is currently falling and savings balances increasing as people are very wary about the future. From personal contacts, banks are concerned about potential business failures. Any airline executive worth their salt will be battening down the hatches. Note also that the pound has fallen to its lowest level against the dollar since 1985. As jet fuel is priced in dollars this will eventually feed through into higher ticket prices as lower value hedges begin to unwind.

CAA passenger figures for the new service to Belfast City were very encouraging - 7257 for July and 7005 for August with load factors of 80% and 83% respectively.

That’s excellent. Historically, loads on the route under previous operators have never been stellar.

Got an email yesterday to tell me that our flight time to Lanzarote has been changed for our holiday next June 2023 ,fom 14.55 to 16.45 from LPL,return flightwas 19.50,but is now 21.50. A bit of a nuisance, but I suppoae it could have been worse, could have been transfered to Manchester.

Madrid seems to be gone for next summer. Manchester bound no doubt.

I would say the 2 based airlines just use LJLA as a proving ground for their flts, when successful they shift them😡

As there are unexpected gaps makes me wonder that it hasnt been uploaded fully.

That is suggested elsewhere. For instance, LPL BFS was not uploaded for May and June initially.

They need the extra crew as they have been operating with 4 on the A319 instead of 5. They just need to build staff numbers up again.

**EASYJET AT LIVERPOOL AIRPORT FOR 25 YEARS** Easyjet has been at Liverpool Airport 25 years today 27/10/2022. The Airport has been marking the occasion with the customary cake appropriately coloured orange.

BA/IAG takeover. Apparently IAG are looking at ways to consolidate the aviation industry and a takeover of Easyjet is one of the businesses in their sights. If BA get their hands on Easyjet, I suspect LJLA could be looking at the loss of a major part of their business, given BA's history at Liverpool and their presence at Manchester. Time will tell.

Mmmm not convinced by this, wouldn’t totally bet against bit of rumour mongering to boost share prices. Worked very well!! Just a personal thought
