I was lucky enough to be booked on an A380,on my return from the far east on last wednesday for the DXB/LHR sector here are some pics A6EDA at the gate at DXB. from my seat (50A)in the forward cabin loads of leg room The JFK bound A380 on the next gate Just after rotation the cabin forward of the engines,is amazingly quiet Passing the palm development shortly after take off Passing IL76 at 31000 feet Over the Arabian gulf, at 31000 feet during a stepped climb to 40000 feet the final altitude In the hold for LHR Hope you liked them, the A380 is a massive leap in technology compared with the current 777/A330/340,and I am sure many of you will experience a flight in one soon.

I flew DXB-LGW on an A340-500, when they were used on that route for crew training, gotta say the shots of and from the 380 look even better!!!

Yes John 1958,Massive leap in techology and comfort for all passengers in all cabins,I notice though that reliability seems to be a problem at the moment with all three operators, this is not unusal for a new type and new engines,so not doubt Airbusand Engine alliance engineers are in Dubai/Sydney and Singapore respectively, sorting out the problems, I think most new orders now in this class, will be for A380,s and not 747-800 the latter seems a bit of a sales flop, passenger wise.
