I know your probably sick of the sight of this thing by now but having near creased myself to get a shot of it, I'm putting it on anyway. Nice to meet up with a few old friends and many spotters I hadn't met before. Her she is with the GA as a backdrop. Hope you enjoy it. Steve.

There seems to be some confusion over the con number. The one shown on Airport-Data has c/n 89A-804 = RA-85848 The one to-day c/n 07A-1001= RA-85057 (2nd use of reg) The one WFU c/n 74A-057= RA-85057 I have checked my database and Airframes.org and both give the same result. Regards Beemer.

D-CAAE Any one Know if it arrived/departed please. It's flight plan vanished earlier this evening. Might have cancelled. Was inbound from Turkey. Another LJ is in tomorrow but from the canaries. Can't see that being a replacement.

Just looking back on some of the photographs of the 154 taken today and it amazes me how those massive main gear dollies retract directly vertically upwards in to the wings without having a big impact on the profile of the wing when stowed. Most mass production 'western' airliners main gear would generally fold transversely into the wing root or fuselage.

Ron, it shows how much interest there was in the Tu-154 with nearly 6,000 visits to the Forum on Wednesday and Friday for the arrival and departure of this rare (to our shores) aircraft. Lets have more. ;D Regards Beemer.
