I'll echo that Jordan,
Must have been one of the few vehicles delivered new to the IOM as most were second hand. If Ian doesn't mind you putting them on Facebook perhaps you might let Geoff O'Brien know there's a photo of him driving the PD2, I'm sure he'd appreciate a copy. These photo's bought back many memories for me having passed my test on a St Helens Titan similar to the one Geoff is driving. L501 which is behind it was based at my first depot (Garston) in her final days in service. I tried hard to get to drive her during her service days but to no avail. However, I did when she was in preservation at HMS Ringtail. At 15 years old (on retirement) she was the oldest front entrance bus in service with the MPTE at the time, little did I know back then that I would be driving vehicles of 25 years and over on the streets of Liverpool prior to the arrival of Arriva.
